The name "de Profundis" is Latin for "out of the deep." It plays on the distinctiveness of the male voice, while at the same time bespeaking the conviction that music has the capacity to reveal the profound, that which is concealed within our own depths.

Our Nineteenth Season

Our season opens, as always, at Quarai on September 16, 2012, at 3:00 pm. Quarai is part of the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, Mountainair, NM. It is the ruins of a 17th century mission church with wonderful acoustics in the rolling foothills of the Manzano Mountains. The concert is free.

Our holiday concerts are:
Saturday, November 24, 7:30 pm, St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Albuquerque
Sunday, November 25, 3:00 pm, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Albuquerque
